Vera Town and the Water Park
Looking for a great day out? Why not try a visit in to the beautiful town of Vera in the morning. As you drive in you will pass Almeria's largest bull ring. You may not agree with what goes on in there but you will admire its architecture as it dominates the entrance to Vera Town. As you arrive in the town, the old part is where you need to head for. Here you will find such sights as the church of St. Augustine, the town hall and the variety of shops that surround it. If you visit on a Saturday, you will find its market day. Stay here until lunch time then make your way down to the aqua park only 4 miles away.
The opportunity arises to enjoy a spot of lunch before entering the waterpark at one of the bar/restaurants that are outside the waterpark. The waterpark is a short 2 minute stroll away where you can enjoy hours of fun until the evening. Once you have finished with the waterpark, visit the bars and restaurants for your evening meal.

Cuevas del Almanzora & San Juan
Looking to experience real Spain? Then why not try a visit to Cuevas Del Almanzora in the morning. Here you can visit the hilltop castle with it's views of Cuevas from the top of the turrets. Go inside the museum and you will find an art exhibition set on 2 floors. Once you have finished with the castle, have a walk around this lovely old town. If you visit on Tuesdays you will find it is market day. In the afternoon when you want to relax and unwind, take the 23 kilometre drive to the coast to San Juan De Los Terreros. Here you will find unspoilt beaches lined with beach bars and some of the softest sand in the area. It is a good area to go snorkelling from too. In the evening go in to the town to try one of the local restaurants before returning back home.

Fishing Trips
For a relaxing and fun day out how about a spot of fishing. Fishing the Med can be exciting too, bring home the catch and cooking it for supper. We leave from the port of Villaricos or Garrucha. Trips last between 4-5 hours and all equipment can be hired.

The Lakes of Freila
This tour takes you through the Almanzora Valley to the great Lake near Baza. The lake is the largest man-made lake in Europe with the mountains in the back drop the views are truly spectacular. A 3 course lunch at a lake side restaurant is also included. on the way we stop off at the old village of Seron on the slopes of the Sierra de los Filabres to visit its historic Castle and on to Zujar to enjoy the thermal baths that are open all year round. . The castle dates back to the 13th century to the time of the Moors, it is located at the highest point of the village where it dominates the Valley, the views from the castle are stunning.
